Blood Volume Monitoring: A Clinical Tool to Guide Ultrafiltration in Volume Control and Optimisation of Intradialytic Blood Pressure

چکیده
The importance of extracellular volume control and avoidance overload has been well documented in relation to the management patients with chronic haemodialysis. Chronic results poorly controlled hypertension, increased cardiovascular events, all-cause mortality. Traditional methods dry weight assessment have relied on clinical guide status. challenge achieving balance between weights preventing intradialytic complications is a formidable one. In order achieve this, reproducible sensitive are desirable aid objective quantification One such method by use blood monitoring, which achieved real-time calculation changes relative via cuvette placed arterial blood-line, can be used ultrafiltration targets during haemodialysis session. This review article examines monitoring as tool dialysis examine current evidence supports its assessing hypotension events.

Continuous Blood Volume Monitoring and Ultrafiltration Control.
Continuous blood volume monitoring (CBVM) is believed to be a promising method for making the determination of patients' "dry weight" more objective, and ultrafiltration (UF) control more appropriate. Although blood volume response to UF and the interrelation between blood volume changes and changes in hemodynamic parameters are highly individual, certain principles of this response and interre...

BACKGROUND Prospective access flow measurement is the preferred method for vascular access surveillance in hemodialysis (HD) patients. We studied the effect of intradialytic change in blood pressure and ultrafiltration volume on the variation in access flow measured by ultrasound dilution. METHODS Access flow was measured 30 minutes, 120 minutes, and 240 minutes after the start of HD by ultra...
متن کاملIntradialytic blood volume monitoring in ambulatory hemodialysis patients: a randomized trial.
Complications related to inadequate volume management are common during hemodialysis. This trial tested the hypothesis that availability of an intradialytic blood volume monitoring (IBVM) device improves fluid removal, reducing morbidity. A six-center, randomized trial with 6 mo of intervention comparing IBVM using Crit-Line versus conventional clinical monitoring was conducted. The average rat...
متن کاملEffects of relative blood volume-controlled hemodialysis on blood pressure and volume status in hypertensive patients.
In hypertensive hemodialysis (HD) patients, dry weight reduction to normalize blood pressure (BP) often results in increased frequency of HD hypotension. Because HD with blood volume tracking (BVT) has been shown to improve intra-HD hemodynamic stability, we performed a prospective, randomized study to test whether BVT is more effective than standard hemodialysis (SHD) in the management of hype...
